Mission

The Oratory of Saints Gregory and Augustine Homeschool Co-op strengthens the bonds of our Catholic homeschool families with support and community rooted in Jesus Christ by emphasizing the True, Good and Beautiful and preserving the cherished traditions of our Catholic Faith.

Our Cooperative School

Our co-op is a beautiful combination of all the best qualities of a homeschool and a regular school. We provide students with a structured opportunity for holistic development, a variety of classes, positive and inspiring interactions with teachers, group work, a faith-based environment, social opportunities, and a strong Catholic community while also striving to provide individualized support and to maintain flexibility as well as mutual respect with parents, whom we recognize as the primary educators of their children.

History

The Oratory of Ss. Gregory and Augustine Homeschool Co-op was founded in September 2018 to provide an atmosphere to pray together in a traditional Catholic setting while educating our children in wisdom and virtue. Through the traditional devotions, rosary, and co-op classes, we hope to cultivate truth, goodness, and beauty in the hearts of the students who attend.

Schedule and Fees

Due to our growth over the last five years, we have added an additional day. Classes meet three days a month on either Tuesday or Thursday. We are in session during the months of September through November, and January through April. At this time, all students who attend the Tuesday co-op only have access to morning classes. Thursday co-op students have the opportunity to participate in morning and afternoon classes.

Preschool:

Our children ages 3-5 will attend Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and a Preschool Learning Center during the morning.

Nursery:

We have a dedicated classroom for parents and babies ages newborn - 2 years to play, socialize, and just hang out with each other.  Those parents who are comfortable, can leave their babies with a dedicated babysitter (another parent) while they teach in a classroom.  The little ones are always welcome in the classrooms if they are needed, though the goal is to be able to teach without distractions.  Sometimes, the baby just needs the mama!

Schedule:

9:30 am Morning prayers and announcements

9:45 am Morning classes ages 6-14 (Art, Music, Literature)

9:45 am Morning classes ages 3-5  (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Preschool Learning Center)

12:00 pm Angelus and optional lunch/playtime

1:00-2:30 pm Optional afternoon classes (*Thursday only) Theater, Sewing, Strategy Games, Chess, Science, PE
